Celebrity guests at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rumored wedding at Madison Square Garden managed to slip past paparazzi without being seen as they joined a “pre-party celebration” at the arena Thursday night.
Traveling in a procession of black Escalades and Mercedes stretch vans that began arriving at MSG around 4:30 p.m., the guests were obscured by tinted windows and dropped off inside a massive, two-story-tall white tent setup at the Garden's 4 Penn Plaza entrance on W. 31st St. between Seventh and Eighth Aves for the occasion.

Once inside, event staff quickly whisked the tent’s flaps shut, allowing passengers to disembark and enter the arena without fear of prying eyes.
“They drive into the tent, and then the event staff close the curtains,” said an NYPD cop posted outside MSG.
“You’re lucky if you see the top of their heads.”
The system for obscuring guests for the rehearsal dinner frustrated paparazzi, some of whom had waited for hours snap shots of celebrities in the sweltering heat, which topped out at 99-degrees Thursday afternoon.
“The tints are a nightmare, and they’re crouching down so you can’t get them,” said one shutterbug.
“This is undoable.”
In addition to the block where guests entered the Garden, the NYPD shut down W. 33rd St. between Seventh and Eighth Aves., where workers could be seen ferrying supplies into MSG.
Swift and Kelce’s thousand-plus guests have began arriving in New York City earlier Thursday ahead of the stars’ nuptials, largely believed to be taking place Friday at Madison Square Garden, the perimeter of which has been shut down for the occasion.
People confirmed that Mama Donna Kelce made it to Gotham Thursday, just in time for the “pre party celebration” reportedly set to start at 6:30 p.m.
A city permit obtained by the Associated Press shows 100 guests were planned to arrive at Madison Square Garden at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday for a “pre party celebration,” which officials described as an intimate rehearsal dinner.
