Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, made a rare public appearance at the White House for his father’s 80th birthday Sunday, by attending the UFC Freedom 250 cage match. 
The 20-year-old walked onto the White South Lawn Sunday evening for the fight alongside his older siblings and extended family. 
It marks his latest major public appearance since February when he attended his father’s State of the Union address at the Capitol. 
At the UFC Freedom 250 fight, Barron Trump sat behind his parents, the president and First Lady Melania Trump, and between his grandfather, Viktor Knavs, and niece, Kai Trump. 
The youngest Trump son does not make many public media appearances because he is currently studying at New York University’s Stern School of Business at the Washington, D.C. campus. 
Barron Trump just finished his sophomore year. 
But for his father’s birthday, also marketed as a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Barron Trump made an appearance on the White House South Lawn for the UFC fight. 
All of the president’s other children also made appearances at the fight, including Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Bettina Trump; Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner; Eric Trump and his wife, Lara Trump; and Tiffany Trump and her husband, Michael Boulos. 
Most of the president’s grandchildren also attended. 
The president’s children often attend high-profile events to support their father. 
Eric and Lara Trump, as well as Tiffany Trump and Michael Boulos, attended the White House Easter Egg Roll earlier this year. 
Ivanka Trump joined Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump in attending the White House State Dinner for King Charles III. 
Jared Kushner has also played a prominent role in the current administration as a special envoy trying to broker peace deals with Iran as well as between Ukraine and Russia, and Hamas and Israel. 
Though Barron Trump is still in college, he has already begun taking a step into politics and business. 
During the 2024 presidential election, he helped his father reach young male voters by recommending that he connect with popular male podcasters.
