President Donald Trump did get some laughs at Friday’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner with a jab at Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.
Kennedy Jr. , who has blazed his own trail of bizarre animal moments over the years.
RFK Jr.  who has made headlines for cutting the penis out of a roadkill raccoon ; staging a gruesome scene in Central Park in 2014 involving a dead bear cub ; and even more recently, trying to wrangle a pair of snakes  appeared to take the roasting in stride.
Trump opened the gag by suggesting the name of the annual dinner be changed to the “Trump White House Correspondents’ Dinner.”
Then he mentioned the meal at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington D.C. and gave a nod to Kennedy’s actress wife, Cheryl Hines :
I hope that everyone finally got to enjoy their entire very delicious beef tenderloin.
Very special beef.
And I want you all to know that Bobby Kennedy is right here.
Personally ran over the cow in his car and he cut it up and he brought it here for you to eat tonight.
So it’s very fresh.
And Bobby also suggested an appetizer featuring his favorite cut of male raccoon roadkill .
But we drew the line at that Cheryl we said, no, we’re not going to do that.
We’re not doing that.
We love Bobby.
I’ll tell you, he’s a piece of work.
You think it’s it is fun, but he is a very different kind of a person.
I will tell you.
But he has what it takes and he loves the country.
It was the president’s first full appearance at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner , which is intended to be a celebration of the First Amendment and was rescheduled after accused gunman Cole Tomas Allen opened fire at the original event earlier this year .
