CASPER, Wyo.  A $100,000 cash-only bond was set last Friday for a Casper man who heard 12 felony counts related to the possession of child sexual abuse materials, or CSAM.
Anthony Daine Pittman, 44, is also charged with two counts of felony voyeurism.
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation agent said in the charging affidavit that two photos of a prepubescent female sleeping in a pajama top appear to have been taken by Pittman himself in a surreptitious or clandestine manner in recent years.
Wyoming DCI’s Internet Crimes Against Children task force agent Tom Wilson said in the report that the suspected victim’s identity appears to have been confirmed by a family member.
Pittman is presumed innocent unless found or pleading guilty.
On April 6, 2026, Wyoming DCI got a tip forwarded from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that had been submitted by a cloud-based storage provider in regards to two apparent files of CSAM.
The term “child pornography” has been largely abandoned by prosecutors and advocates because it implies consent to sexual conduct that a child cannot give.
The investigation into the IP address traced to an internet subscription account in Casper that Pittman would have had access to, according to the affidavit.
The investigation also uncovered records associated with Anthony Daine Prothero, listed in the report as a known alias of Pittman’s.
Wilson’s affidavit says that the name Anthony Daine Prothero had several “notes of interest,” including an active probation in 2011 related to a voyeurism charge stemming from an investigation into the installation of a camera in a co-ed bathroom at a Casper restaurant.
Wilson noted that Prothero was apparently investigated for CSAM in 2013, during which a damaged laptop had been recovered from Casper Mountain, but Wilson was unable to find any further information on that investigation.
In June, Wilson got a circuit court search warrant for the cloud account, which reportedly revealed over 1,500 files of “child exploitative or age-difficult” images and 130 files that Wilson classified as CSAM.
The account also reportedly contained other information associated with Pittman, including a résumé, a car insurance policy and information related to a band he’d performed in.
Pittman was reportedly arrested the morning of Thursday, July 16, after leaving work, and more devices were seized, Wilson wrote in the report.
More photos were allegedly found of prepubescent females in swimsuits.
Wilson said they were not sexually explicit or illegal, but noted concern given the nature of the investigation and the fact that they appeared to have been taken by Pittman himself in the last few years.
