Spain's socialist President Pedro spoke on Friday about the Moroccan Muslim 60,000 migrant-strong invasion of the Spanish exclave Ceuta, saying that the nation "will use all the resources of the State to guarantee security and coexistence."
In April, he granted blanket amnesty to some million migrants who illegally entered Spain.
For Sanchez, "coexistence" is capitulation.
France and the UK have both offered aid to Spain.
Italy, Denmark and Finland back closing Spain's border to the rest of the EU to prevent the illegal migrants from traveling freely across the continent, as there are no border controls between EU nations.
France tightened its border with Spain.
President Donald Trump and VP JD Vance said the US is at risk of invasions of these kinds if leftists take control in America.
"What has happened is an attack on Spain's territorial integrity and deserves our most resounding and energetic condemnation," Sanchez said.
"All of Spain stands with the people of Ceuta.
The Government of Spain stands with the Autonomous City.
Thank you for the cooperation that we have always maintained with the city government.
We will use all the resources of the State to guarantee security and coexistence.
And our total and resounding commitment to the future of the Autonomous City of Ceuta."
EU President Ursula von der Leyen spoke out against the "images" coming out from the migrant invasion, saying, "The images coming from Ceuta are unacceptable.
We cannot allow anyone to come to our Union without abiding by our rules.
Dangerous crossings must stop immediately.
Smuggling networks must be dismantled.
And returns must be swift, as our rules allow."
"I tasked two Commissioners to support to control the situation," von der Leyen continued.
"Magnus Brunner is already working closely with Spain and is ready to travel to critical points.
He will work on additional operational support to Spain, including through Frontex.
Dubravka Šuica is in contact with her Moroccan counterpart.
I am confident that our close partnership with Morocco will help deliver concrete results."
Šuica is the Commissioner for the Mediterranean and for Demography while Brunner is the EU Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration.
French President Emmanuel Macron gave an order to "strengthen controls at the border with Spain," an aide said to Le Monde.
"France stands ready to provide the Spanish authorities with any support they may need, should they request it."
Macron's opposition, Marine Le Pen, said Spain has "encouraged" illegal migration and called for tighter border security.
Le Monde reports that Italy wants Spain out of the open-borders of the Schengen zone.
Finland and Denmark got behind Italy.
Because there are not strict border controls between nations of the economic zone, illegal entry into one nation facilitates illegal entry into all nations.
"It goes without saying that the EU must immediately take all necessary measures and consider all options, including a suspension of Schengen cooperation.
Uncontrolled immigration poses a threat to Europe and to Denmark," said Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
Newly minted UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham said the mass migration crisis is "a matter for the Spanish government first and foremost, but it is a cause for concern."
Burnham inherited a mass migration crisis from departing Prime Minister Keir Starmer as the nation continues to grapple with migrant boats crossing the English Channel.
Burnham went on to say, "we are making contact with the Spanish government, the Spanish authorities, to provide support but also to understand the implications of the situation."
