Jonathan, so checks are expected to arrive soon because of the president's executive order, but as we just said, 500 agents have already quit.
So, has the damage already been done here?
>> Well, I think there's been a lot of damage already done.
And and you're right, 500 people have quit because things were placed so bad they couldn't afford to do it, even if they wanted to.
So, yeah, they'll have to be rehired or get new agents in there.
But yeah, there's been a lot of damage done and I think what President Trump did is paying them, which is a great thing.
I think they're getting paid today and having the ICE agents there and more law enforcement there is certainly important with the longer lines which makes people more vulnerable and also the increased security threat.
So all of those things I think that's moving in a good direction.
direction. But the Democrats seem like I think they really gave up the game with what they voted on Friday because they had always talked about, hey, this was about reforms.
We want to reform ICE and yet they were giddy to vote for something that had zero reforms and just simply didn't fund ICE.
So I think everyone knows how this breaks down.
It's mass deport, mass amnesty for the illegal aliens or deport illegal alien criminals is where this breaks down.
the Democrats are not wavering on this.

We're talking about Congress here.
So, let's bring in Maryland Senator Chris Van Holland with his latest thoughts over the weekend on the DH DHS shutdown.
I guess what's confusing here is you have fought and blocked the funding for the Department of Homeland Security because you object as you just outlined to what ICE has been doing and you wanted to force changes and yet the only thing that has been assured throughout all of this is that ICE already has the money.
We are not prepared to give ICE another10 billion dollars.
>> Yeah.
>> On top of the monies they already have and are using in many of these lawless operations.
>> But Democrats have already received a lot. So what more could they be wanting out of this?
>> Yeah. Yeah. He really pointed the irony to this whole thing out because to get whatever they supposedly want, they're willing to defund FEMA, defund all the SISA, which is cyber security.
So they really want, if you break it down, they want essentially mass amnesty.
And everything they want to do is to either stop deportations or to make it harder for President Trump to deport people.
But I think uh Van Holland was really called out during that interview because when they're offered reforms, they say no.
And when they're and when they have the option to just shut down ICE, they say yes.
So they clearly don't want reforms.
They want ICE to stop doing its job.
And again, as we all know, ISIS job is not lawful.
It's not only lawful, but it's required to enforce the immigration law.

So, hopefully things go back to normal at a rapid pace.
