It's a big day for The Pit, it was a big
day for Hacks, and it was a big day for
their network HBO Max here at the Emmy nominations.
Last year, The Pit was kind of a rookie upstart when it won Best Drama.
This year, it's very much the dominant veteran.
Star Noah Wylie got three nominations, one for his acting, one for his directing, and one for his producing on the show.
Uh his supporting cast is all over those categories.
>> [music] >> Uh four out of the seven supporting actress slots went to Pit cast members, and three of the supporting actor spots did, too.
Hacks is having a fifth and final season that's always popular with the Emmys.
And the Emmys has loved that show from the beginning.
Uh the star, Jean Smart, has won for all four previous seasons for Best Actress in a Comedy, and she's [music] almost certain to do it again for a fifth time after getting a nomination today.
Other nominees include the late Rob Reiner for his guest acting on The Bear, uh Taylor Swift for her Eras Tour concert film on Disney Plus, and Bad Bunny for his Super Bowl halftime show, which got nine nominations overall.
