Early voting began on Wednesday, Aug. 5, for the special Republican Senate primary, which will determine the candidate who will face Democrat Annie Andrew in November. 
The early voting period runs through Friday, Aug. 7, with polling locations open daily 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. 
The primary will determine the Republican nominee following the death of Lindsey Graham. 
Who can vote in the special Senate primary? 
Only voters who cast ballots in the June 9 Republican primary or who did not vote at all will be eligible to vote in the special primary. 
South Carolinians who voted in the June 9 Democratic primary will not be eligible for this race.

Danny Ford II initially was not certified by the South Carolina Republican Party to appear on the ballot, but Judge Daniel Coble ordered him to be added to early voting and election day ballots on Aug.

South Carolina voters can access sample ballots and find their polling place on the state election commission's website. 
Early voting in Greenville County will be held at McAlister Square on Pleasantburg Drive. 
Spartanburg County voters can cast their ballots at the Spartanburg County voter registration office on North Church Street, and Anderson County voters can vote early at their county voter registration office on North Main Street. 
When is election day for the special Senate primary? 
Polls will also be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on election day, which is Aug. 
11. 
A runoff, if needed, will be on Aug. 
25.
