The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested two additional men in connection with the foiled June 14th UFC Freedom 250 attack plot, in which the suspects reportedly planned to target the patriotic event using drones and firearms.
The first suspect, William Lee Spartacus Falkner, was arrested on Friday.
According to his criminal complaint, which was released on Monday, he is being charged in the Western District of Washington with conspiracy to commit murder.
The second suspect, Jordan W.
Rincker, was arrested on Sunday in connection to the domestic terror plot.
He is being charged in the Western District of Missouri with conspiracy to commit murder.
According to the detailed criminal complaint, Falkner was connected to the plot to attack the UFC White House event after the parents of Tycen C.
Proper alerted law enforcement of concerning purchases their son had made online.
After looking into the complaint, investigators traced Proper’s online communications to Falkner.
Falkner had experience both manufacturing and piloting drones.
In their online conversations, he discussed “loading explosives on the drones and how to configure and fly them for maximum destructive impact.”
According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Rincker allegedly accepted $1,200 in cash from fellow co-conspirator Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez to disperse to the other men involved in the scheme.
With the money, he paid Bryan Omar Roa, who used the money for gas to drive from California to Washington, D.C., to pick up the “drone operator” that was going to be used in the attack.
Additionally, Rincker provided Alvarez with a “12-gauge pump action shotgun, a ballistic plate, face shield, 3D printer to make the drones, 3D printing filament, night vision goggles, binoculars, a ‘wire checker,’ and a minicomputer.
”
In their foiled plot, the seven men planned to use drones to attack one side of the event, forcing those in attendance to exit from the opposite side.
Then, another group of co-conspirators equipped with sniper rifles and other weapons would gun down targeted individuals as they evacuated toward Pennsylvania Avenue.
