The personal finance website looked at cities with 65,000 or more people, measuring growth by changes in jobs, housing, and the economy over five years.
Georgetown added 34 percent more homes from 2019 to 2024, while its workforce spiked by the same amount.
The beloved suburb is prized for its safety, family-friendly atmosphere, and appeal to retirees.
New spots like Haji Moto and Sovian Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge are energizing the food scene, as it grows to meet the needs of the expanding community.
Georgetown isn’t the only Texas city on the list - in fact, the Lone Star State dominates it.
Texas nearly swept the top five boomtown spots in the nation.
Georgetown led the rankings, followed by fellow Central Texas cities New Braunfels at No 2 and Leander at No 4.
Lewisville, a suburb in the Dallas - Fort Worth area, rounded out the top five at No 5, while Lehi, Utah was the only non-Texas city to break into the group, landing at No 3.
Other Texas city honorable mentions include: Cedar Park at No 28, Temple at No 29, Round Rock at No 43, and Pflugerville at No 60.
In the Austin region, Leander saw a 48 percent rise in housing over the past five years, along with a 25 percent increase in its workforce, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Austin itself ranked No 37, with housing units up 17 percent and its labor force growing 6 percent since 2019.
