Tributes are being paid to Kaylee
Hottle, a deaf actor known for her work
in two Godzilla films, who died in a car
crash in Maryland on Tuesday, aged 18.
Millie Bobby Brown, who starred opposite Hottle in Godzilla vs. Kong, wrote on Instagram, "I'm so devastated to hear this. You will be deeply missed, Kaylee."
Other stars remembering the late actor
include Rebecca Hall and Millie Bobby Brown, who said, "I'm absolutely gutted about the passing of sweet Kaylee
Hottle. May her beauty and talent be a memory for eternity."
Hottle was one of two passengers in the car when it went off the road and hit a culvert before 3:00 a.m.
Excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, which is under investigation.
Hottle's father, Joshua, reached out to the driver, described by the sheriff's office as a 19-year-old man.
"I have forgiven you," he said. "Don't let this incident ruin the rest of your life."
