Well, another key issue, as you mentioned, that remains unresolved
with Tyrron, whether the White House will press for the release of six Americans still wrongfully detained by the Iranian government.
At least two of those Americans remain in the notorious AAN prison.
Kaman Hecmati, a 61-year-old Jewish Iranian-American grandfather from Long Island.
Hecmati was visiting family in Iran last spring when he was arrested over a trip to Israel 13 years ago for his son's bar mitzvah.
And 49-year-old journalist Reza Valzed, who worked for Radio Free Europe for 10 years and returned in 2024 to care for his parents.
Fox News obtained this audio of Reza from inside Aine prison.
>> Even if treating our diseases is a big demand, it would have at least asked the Iranian authorities to reduce not all the physical pressure and mental torture against us in captivity, but at least some of it.
Rez's attorney, Ryan Fehey, is urging the administration to make the release of all detained Americans a priority,
especially since the US released more than 60 captured Iranian sailors back in May.
>> It's so difficult for me to reconcile how it is that the US can release these sailors without anything in return.
We're allowing a grandfather to be held for the crime of visiting Israel 14 years ago.
I think this is lowhanging fruit and the administration ought to really focus on getting this deal done.

in February, Secretary of State Marco Rubio designated Iran a state sponsor of wrongful detention, the only other country with that label is Afghanistan.
Quote, "The Iranian regime must stop taking hostages and release all Americans unjustly detained in Iran.
Steps that could end this designation and associated actions." The family of Kaman Hecmati in Great Neck, New York, wrote to President Trump on June 9th, asking him to prioritize the release of these Americans held by Iran.
