A tractor crashed last week while traveling on Boulder Highway, killing the driver, according to a Nevada State Police news release.
Troopers responded to the crash at about 11:45 a.m.
Friday on Boulder at the Interstate Highway 11 southbound on-ramp.
According to police, the tractor with a dump trailer in tow was attempting to enter the ramp from Boulder when it traveled left, striking the metal guardrail and concrete barrier with the tractor’s front.
The tractor then traveled down a small embankment and overturned, ejecting the unrestrained driver from the cab area.
The driver, Eric Francis, 44, of Henderson, was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Police were later contacted by hospital personnel, who said that Francis had died from his injuries.
