When an EF3 tornado tore through the St.
Louis region on May 16, 2025, residents immediately started picking up the pieces — volunteering their time to clear debris, helping to feed those in need and providing resources to patch up damaged buildings.
This Saturday marks one year since the storm — and the work is far from over.
