Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to affray following a confrontation in a London nightclub in 2023.
According to BBC News, the singer entered his plea at Southwark Crown Court in a hearing that took less than five minutes.
The incident took place in a London nightclub in Mayfair.
Brown’s co-defendant, his vocal coach Omololu Akinlolu, a rapper who performs under the name Hoody Baby, was also reported to have pleaded guilty to affray.
Assault and grievous bodily harm charges, which the pair denied, were dropped, as was a charge Brown faced of having an offensive weapon.
The sentencing hearing for both Brown and Akinlolu was scheduled for October this year.
ITV News reported that fans held signs outside the court today, with one reportedly shouting “I love you Chris” as he walked past.
The controversial 37-year-old singer has previously spent time in prison in L.A. after violating his probation.
This came after he pleaded guilty to felony assault of his then girlfriend Rihanna in a case that attracted global media attention.
