Chef Anne Quatrano just opened her latest restaurant at Upper West Market in Underwood Hills.
Located on Collier Road in the northwest Atlanta neighborhood, Summerland serves breakfast and lunch daily, along with coffee and baked goods.
Summerland’s opening marks the first restaurant to open at the indoor farmers market.
Once fully open, Upper West Market will feature more than 20 locally owned food, pantry provisions, and retail stalls, as well as a wine bar from Hop City Beer & Wine.

Quatrano named the Upper West Market restaurant after Summerland Farm, her family’s 60-acre farm in Cartersville in operation for five generations.
Known for award-winning restaurants like Bacchanalia and Star Provisions, Quatrano built her reputation on sourcing from small, regional farms like Summerland.
“Everything at Summerland feels very personal,” Quatrano said in a statement.
“A bit from restaurants past, aerial photos of the farm and cherished barn photos taken by a friend many years ago.”
Executive Chef Faye Poon, who worked alongside Quatrano at Bacchanalia, Floataway Cafe, and Dubs Fish Camp, runs day-to-day operations at Summerland.
Poon’s menu includes a variety of egg dishes, including greens with a soft poached egg and an English muffin sandwich topped with smoked salmon and hollandaise.
Look for other dishes like brodo with pastina, cottage cheese pancakes with seasonal fruit compote, a ploughman’s lunch, and chicken schnitzel.
For dessert, there’s a Georgia peanut and popcorn sundae, an Eton mess with berries and Chantilly cream, and granola with yogurt and fruit.
As for drinks, Summerland offers Bloody Mary made with spicy garden tomato juice, vodka and horseradish, a bourbon and ginger beer tonic, and juices like carrot-ginger-tumeric.
Non-alcoholic drinks, wine, beer, coffee, and tea are also available.
Look for afternoon tea service to launch later this fall.

The indoor market is designed to gather regional farmers and producers under one roof, giving resident a year-round alternative to seasonal farmers markets.
Summerland serves as the anchor restaurant for Upper West Market, which should open with more tenants soon.
Summerland , 1385 Collier Road, Underwood Hills.
Open daily, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
