CHICAGO — The Red Sox on Thursday placed All-Star lefthander Ranger Suarez on the 15-day injured list with a left groin strain.
The move was retroactive to Monday.

He has hit .194 in 73 major league games since 2024.
He was 0 for 4 in five games for the Athletics this season, and 3 for 18 in five games for the WooSox.
