NEWPORT, KY – The city of Newport spent $3.8 million buying property along Monmouth Street, including the buildings that housed longtime strip clubs the Brass Ass and Brass Bull.
The purchase includes nine parcels on or near the 600 block of Monmouth in the Central Business District, the city said in a news release.
The Brass Ass, Brass Bull, and Huddles Cafe abruptly closed at the end of June, The Enquirer previously reported.
