Cincinnati police are investigating what they are calling the suspicious death of a child in Oakley.
Police first arrived at a home on the 2800 block of Madison Road after 1 p.m.
Aug. 6, said Cincinnati Police Department Capt.
Jennifer Mitsch.
Coroner Dr.
Lakshmi Kode Sammarco confirmed the person who died is a juvenile.
"Anytime you find a juvenile dead in a home, you're going to want to rule out homicide," Sammarco said.
The community is not at risk of any harm, and no one has been charged or arrested, according to Mitsch.
There are three people in custody being interviewed, Cincinnati Police Department spokesperson Brad Underwood said.
Chris Papa and his wife have lived across the street from the home for two years.
He said he saw people from the home walking a dog a couple of times a week, but it wasn't always the same people walking the dog.
He'd never see a child on those walks, which he said was really weird.
At 8:50 p.m., investigators are still on the scene.
About four yards are roped off with police tape.
The area in front of the homes including the sidewalk will likely be shut down for hours, Mitsch said.
