Anthony Constantino, the CEO of Sticker Mule, who was endorsed by President Donald Trump, won the Republican primary election in New York's 21st District.
Constantino, who gained fame for his 100-foot “Vote for Trump” sign in upstate New York, beat his opponent, state Representative Robert Smullen (R-N.Y.) by more than 19% in Tuesday's election.
The CEO is replacing U.S.
Representative Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), who did not run for reelection, and he is set to face off against Democrat nominee and dairy farmer Blake Gendebien.
“Congratulation to @constantino on his overwhelming victory in today’s #NY21 Republican primary!”
said Stefanik on X.
“This was a hard fought election and the voters have spoken loudly and clearly.
In the coming months, I know Anthony will continue to work hard to earn your support,” she continued.
In a Truth Social post prior to the election, Trump called on New York Republicans to cast their ballots for Constantino.
“Once Anthony WINS the Primary, we will need all Republicans, Conservatives, and ‘TRUMP’ Supporters, to unite behind Anthony to ensure he has a tremendous Victory in the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats!”
the president said.
“Anthony will work closely with me to enact America First Policies, and is a FANTASTIC person to replace my very good friend, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik,” he continued.
In 2024, Constantino went viral after emailing the Sticker Mule customer base and posting to X following the assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to Fox News.
“Donald Trump was shot.
I don’t care what your political views are but the hate for Trump and his supporters has gone too far,” the X post read.
“People are terrified to admit they support Trump.
I’ve been scared myself.
American's shouldn’t live in fear.
I support Trump.
Many at Sticker Mule do.
Many at Sticker Mule also support Biden.
The political hate needs to stop,” it continued.
