A Northern Nevada inmate from Clark County died last week, according to state prison officials.
Alain Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City on July 15, the Nevada Department of Corrections said in a news release Wednesday.
He was 34.
Rodriguez was serving a sentence of 60 to 240 months for “habitual criminal,” the release said.
He arrived at the facility on July 25, 2018, from Clark County.
Prison officials said an autopsy was requested and Rodriguez’s next-of-kin was notified.
