Dozens of rioters, including one with a dagger, were arrested Saturday after they refused to disperse during the chaotic “No Kings” rally in Downtown LA.
Los Angeles Police confirmed on Sunday a total of 75 arrests following the protest.

The unruly crowd was gathered outside the Metropolitan Detention Center where a few dozen DHS agents were working.
They clashed with DHS and LAPD officers around 5:28 p.m., according to the LAPD.
Officials said the rioters threw objects including rocks, bottles and chunks of concrete at officers.
Two federal officers were struck by cement blocks and required medical treatment, DHS said.
DHS agents were pelted with cement.
About 200 people headed to the site to taunt officers, violently shaking metal gates set up to protect the complex and shouting profanities at officers.
Out of the 75 arrested, eight of those detained were juveniles.
Videos from the scene also showed protesters waving Palestinian and other flags while throwing objects toward Department of Homeland Security agents.
DHS personnel deployed tear gas as LAPD officers in riot gear arrived to control the situation.
Protesters resisted arrests, creating chaotic scenes in the streets outside the detention center.
A woman dressed as “Liberty in Chains” has been vocal on social media.

LAPD officers seemed to be amused by the lady with tattoos, painted in green and wearing a foam crown.
The picture has since gone viral.

The protester who goes by “that.vvitch” on Instagram, and describes herself as “Just trying to survive late stage capitalism”, has posted several rants attacking elected officials including Karen Bass, who she criticized for installing gates closing the downtown LA freeway offramps just hours before she was arrested.
“Those gates are not about our protection, they are about control,” she said.
She smirked as she was hauled away with dozens of other protesters.
In another post she goes after Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika after it was announced she was named advisor to the Air Force Academy board saying she doesn’t have any experience and calls her “the world’s happiest widow.”
There is another picture of her in the Statue of Liberty costume in front of The Washington Monument.
She has over 12,000 followers.

Malibu’s "No Kings" Rally brought out Kamala Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff who strolled down from his swanky new Malibu pad to schmooze with celebrities at the star-studded rally.

The husband-and-wife pair spent $8.15 million on their 4,000-square-foot, four-bedroom, six-bathroom home in Malibu’s Point Dume, with heated pool, in-ground spa and fire pit.
Comedian Kathy Griffin, once known for holding a mock severed head of President Donald Trump, even took a photo with Emhoff at the rally.

Griffin wrote in an Instagram post from the event.
Her work in liberal spaces is well-known, and she’s been a prominent anti-Trump activist.
She held a sign calling ICE “Trump’s Lawless Militia.”
Organizers behind the nationwide “No Kings” movement are claiming a massive turnout, calling Saturday the “largest single-day nonviolent protest in modern American history.”
They say at least 8 million people flooded more than 3,300 rallies spanning all 50 states.
Violence erupts in Downtown LA
From coast to coast, demonstrators took aim at President Donald Trump, blasting his policies, soaring living costs, and the ongoing war with Iran, as crowds packed streets in a sweeping show of dissent.
Celebrities and public figures, including actor Robert De Niro and state Attorney General Letitia James, were reportedly present at various rallies.
Seventy Five people were arrested.
The "No Kings" rally is a recurring, nationwide protest movement in the US, with major demonstrations occurring in June 2025, October 2025, and a third, larger wave in March 2026.
One person allegedly hired a plane to fly a banner over the crowds reading, “Not a King – He’s your daddy,” a provocative gesture of support for the President that directly mocked the “No Kings” slogan.
In Dallas, Police had to separate No Kings demonstrators from “Pro America” counter demonstrators as the two groups engaged in heated clashes.
Video of the scene showed a protester being hauled away and arrested and other shouting “f--k you” at apparent pro-Trump demonstrators who were carrying flags and automatic weapons.
