The Alameda City Attorney’s Office is ready to help—free of charge. 
The new Mobile Housing & Victim Services Clinic will bring free housing information, victim services, and resources directly to residents throughout the community. 
Starting in August, the clinics will be offered one Saturday each month at rotating locations, including libraries, community centers, and other accessible public venues throughout Alameda. 
These clinics seek to provide increased access to essential services by meeting residents where they are. 
Community members will have the opportunity to receive information, referrals, and assistance on a variety of housing- and victim-related matters in a convenient and welcoming setting. 
Services offered during the clinics will include: 
Landlord-tenant information and resources. 
Housing rights and responsibilities. 
Eviction prevention information. 
Mediation program information. 
Victim services information and referrals. 
Community resource referrals. 
Information about upcoming housing education workshops and community programs. 
“The Mobile Housing & Victim Services Clinic reflects the City Attorney’s Office’s commitment to making critical services more accessible and responsive to the needs of our community,” said City Attorney Yibin Shen. 
“By bringing these services directly into neighborhoods, we hope to remove barriers to access and provide residents with another convenient way to receive information and connect with available resources.” 
The first clinic will be offered on August 15, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alameda Free Library, 1550 Oak Street. 
The library is fully wheelchair accessible, and is reachable via accessible AC Transit Routes 21 and 51A and the Alameda Loop Shuttle, which offers free, accessible transit and stops directly at the library. 
Future clinic dates, times, and locations will be announced prior to each monthly clinic through the City Attorney’s Victim Services and Rent Program websites.
